Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ray Osiris (ranked 6944 p4p, 2832 weight class) and Gaius Marius (ranked 634 p4p, 374 weight class). Gaius Marius told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gaius Marius!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

Marius lands a nice leg kick that just misses Osiris's sensitive parts.
Marius throws a head kick that Osiris semi-blocks.
It looks like Ray Osiris has been cut.
Ray Osiris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Osiris swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Marius counters with an outside leg kick.
Nice defenses there by Marius.
Osiris swings for the body but Marius moves out of range.
Osiris connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Osiris seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Osiris looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Marius throws out a counter right but Osiris avoids it with no problem.

Marius doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Marius thuds a left hand into Osiris's body.

Marius lets loose with a powerful body kick. Osiris will feel that in the morning.

Marius lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

A nice inside leg kick there by Marius. That's going to slow Osiris down.
Marius connects with a single shot there.
Osiris throws a poor cross that misses
and Marius connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Osiris on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Marius. Marius obviously looking to wear him down.
Osiris misses with a hook
and Marius counters with a nice leg kick.
Osiris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Marius moves away.
Marius punishes Osiris's body with a nice straight punch.
Marius turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Marius ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Marius steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Osiris.
Marius closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A chopping leg kick lands by Marius.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Osiris on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Osiris throws a right hand that Marius ducks under and follows up with a left that Marius also avoids with ease.
Osiris scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Marius doesn't seem bothered though.

Osiris fails to land with a series of punches.

Marius with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Marius takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Osiris throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Marius counter with a right hand.
The crowd cheers as Marius lands an impressive looking overhand right. Osiris doesn't seem phased though.
Osiris is rocked!
Ray Osiris's cut is getting worse.
A good leg kick by Marius.
Oh Osiris is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Osiris gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Marius points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Osiris wakes up just in time to hear Marius thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gaius Marius!
Gaius Marius decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
