Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jin Sen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Norman Ewert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sen comes to the cage accompanied by Let It Rock. Jin Sen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jin Sen! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Norman Ewert! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sen needs to keep his hands up - Ewert had a free shot at his head there. Sen dodges the punch combination from Ewert.
Sen slips a jab from Ewert. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ewert crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sen - the referee stops the clock and Ewert gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sen. Ewert manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Ewert avoids the head kick by Sen.
Sen ducks right into an uppercut from Ewert. Sen blocks a jab. Ewert lands a slapping body shot.
Ewert tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sen was well out of range. Poor timing from Ewert. Sen scores with a body shot.
Sen feints and then cracks Ewert's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ewert down. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sen moves out of range as Ewert strikes. Good leg kick by Sen there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Sen needs to keep his hands up - Ewert had a free shot at his head there. Sen throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Norman Ewert has been cut. A slapping leg kick lands for Sen.
Ewert looks gassed! A big right from Ewert misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Good exchange - Sen coming out on top. Sen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ewert rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sen slips a jab from Ewert. Ewert walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Sen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Sen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ewert. Sen misses with a series of wild punches.
Sen slips a jab from Ewert. Ewert looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ewert throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sen sees it coming and avoids it easily. Ewert dodges the punch combination from Sen.
No joy there for Ewert, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ewert misses with a body shot.
Ewert is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Sen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Good standup being displayed there by Sen as he connects with a hook. Sen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Sen scores with a kick to the midsection. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ewert takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Sen lands with a thumping leg kick.
Sen throws a combination. Ewert tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Ewert is rocked! Sen cracks Ewert with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ewert tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Sen pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ewert is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jin Sen! Jin Sen retains his light heavyweight title!
