Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Coryatt (ranked 3918 p4p, 6022 weight class) and Dennis Grande (ranked 476 p4p, 594 weight class). Coryatt comes to the ring accompanied by Slim Thug - Welcome 2 Houston. The key to victory for Chris Coryatt has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Grande feints and then cracks Coryatt's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Coryatt down.
Grande gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Coryatt misses with a short punch on the inside.

Coryatt comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Grande crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Coryatt - the referee stops the clock and Grande gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Coryatt. Grande manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Coryatt pushes Grande back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Coryatt creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Grande with a big uppercut! Grande tries to clinch up but Coryatt pushes him back against the ropes and lands another monster strike that crumples Grande to the mat! Grande covers up and Coryatt unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Chris Coryatt!
Chris Coryatt really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Conquer logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
