Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 24 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, John Ruth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pat Yaj! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.

Ruth has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Q Club in the buildup to the fight. Ruth scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Yaj goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Yaj displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ruth throws out the jab. Ruth is looking to counter punch. Yaj avoids a lazy jab quite easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A punch combination from Yaj misses. Yaj misses the jab. Ruth sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Yaj throws a half hearted mid kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruth takes a swing at Yaj's ribcage but misses. Yaj looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Ruth uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Yaj.

Yaj is looking to land body kicks. Yaj throws a head kick that misses. Yaj keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ruth blocks a low kick nicely. Nice shot lands for Ruth. A low kick from Yaj is predictable there and Ruth counters with a right hand to the body. Yaj wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Pat Yaj seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ruth uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Yaj.
Yaj lands with a slapping head kick. Ruth lands with a shot to the body. A head kick by Yaj misses letting Ruth counter with a right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ruth throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ruth misses with a looping right. Yaj appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Ruth loads up on a big right hand but Yaj slips the punch. A countering left hand to the body from Yaj misses. Ruth moves out of range of the leg kick from Yaj. Ruth throws a hook to the side of Yaj's head but Yaj sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Yaj lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ruth lands a left and a right that sends Yaj crashing to the canvas! Ruth dives into mount looking to finish!
Yaj is rocked!
It looks like Pat Yaj has been cut. Ruth lands a big shot to the head and Yaj winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

John Ruth very nearly forgot to thank Ma Balls Is Hot Clothing amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
