Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marco Paris (ranked 2632 p4p, 4534 weight class) and Santiago Ravago (ranked 374 p4p, 566 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marco Paris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Santiago Ravago! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ravago paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Paris bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Ravago looks to land a left hand but Paris moved out of range nicely. Paris throwing a counter right hand but Ravago manages to avoid it. Santiago Ravago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ravago lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Marco Paris has been cut. Paris throws a lazy right hand but Ravago sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ravago throws a leg kick and Paris counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Ravago! Ravago is trying to get back to half guard. Paris remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Ravago struggling a bit here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Paris working the head and body with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paris grinds an elbow into Ravago's temple. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ravago takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. You can see the frustration on Ravago's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Paris connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Ravago some visible discomfort.
Ravago being controlled for a moment. Paris scores with punches from side control. Ravago is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Ground and pound from Paris. Paris with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Ravago trying to control from the bottom.
Paris has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Paris controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paris drops an elbow to the side of Ravago's head. Paris working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Ravago is rocked! Paris lands a big elbow - Ravago is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Paris!
