Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between JR Adams Junior (ranked 1991 p4p, 2984 weight class) and Dani Holguin (ranked 77 p4p, 106 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Holguin is defended easily by Adams Junior.
An attempted straight right counter from Adams Junior misses the target.
Adams Junior looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Adams Junior tries to bench press Holguin off him but Holguin keeps the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Holguin is working to tighten his grip on Adams Junior's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Adams Junior has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Holguin is really squeezing tight and eventually Adams Junior passes out! Holguin breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
