Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

With a record of 6 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Ryland Rasmussen!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.

Rasmussen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
It looked like Kilgore wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Ryland Rasmussen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rasmussen tries to clinch up but Kilgore circles away and keeps his distance.
Kilgore looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Some bone on bone action there as Kilgore checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Kilgore bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rasmussen's head.

Despite the aggression on Rasmussen's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rasmussen throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Rasmussen throws a head kick but Kilgore moves out of range.

A slow jab from Kilgore misses its intended target.
Rasmussen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kilgore swats him away and circles back towards the center.
As Rasmussen looks to move away, Kilgore throws a big counter combo but Rasmussen just gets out of the way.
Kilgore tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Rasmussen scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kilgore doesn't seem bothered though.
Rasmussen fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Rasmussen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kilgore's hands.
Kilgore avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Rasmussen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kilgore was well out of range. Poor timing from Rasmussen.

Rasmussen jumps guard but Kilgore turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rasmussen lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Kilgore breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

enabling Rasmussen to counter with a crisp jab.

Rasmussen tries to clinch there but Kilgore circles away.

Rasmussen misses with a double jab.
Rasmussen throws a solid leg kick but Kilgore takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rasmussen.
Rasmussen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rasmussen is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kilgore rather than just go for the knockout.

Kilgore lands a big uppercut and Rasmussen crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rasmussen looks OK. Kilgore waves Rasmussen back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kilgore takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rasmussen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kilgore has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kilgore and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rasmussen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kilgore manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Kilgore ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rasmussen moves away.
Rasmussen throws a push kick but Kilgore slaps the foot to one side.
As Rasmussen looks to move away, Kilgore throws a big counter combo but Rasmussen just gets out of the way.
Kilgore throws a monster overhand right that drops Rasmussen! Kilgore follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
