Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wesley Taurus (ranked 961 p4p, 743 weight class) and Dixon Ulster (ranked 153 p4p, 120 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Taurus might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Country Boy - Aaron Lewis. Ulster has chosen Alternative Ulster/ Stiff Little Fingers as his entrance music. Dixon Ulster has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ulster lands a nice hook to Taurus's body. Taurus takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Taurus loads up on a big right hand but Ulster slips the punch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ulster has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Ulster fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Taurus is out of range.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Taurus has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Taurus and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
