and Taneyev counters with a nice right hand that sends Kowalski toppling to the canvas! Kowalski scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Taneyev finish him?!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kowalski misses with a hook. Taneyev ducked under it nicely.
Taneyev feints with a jab and clips Kowalski right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Kowalski is sent crashing into the canvas and Taneyev leaps in for the kill! Kowalski tries to get to his feet but Taneyev is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Kowalski is in need of a savior and steps in!
