Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wesley Pipes (ranked 2363 p4p, 5973 weight class) and Timm Cutt (ranked 253 p4p, 474 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Wesley Pipes has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Wesley Pipes seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wesley Pipes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Timm Cutt!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.

Cutt swinging wildly here.
Cutt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Pipes goes for a double leg but Cutt avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cutt continues to drive forward.
Cutt throws a series of punches but Pipes moves out of range.
Pipes fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cutt to the ground. Pipes is now in Cutt's guard.
Pipes drops back looking for a leg! Cutt is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cutt manages to kick Pipes off! Pipes jumps back into Cutt's guard.
Pipes trying to control but Cutt is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pipes prevents Cutt from getting back to his feet.
Pipes trying to control the position from guard on top but Cutt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pipes postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Pipes drops back looking for a leg! Cutt is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cutt manages to kick Pipes off! Pipes jumps back into Cutt's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pipes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pipes not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Pipes drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Pipes as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Cutt screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Pipes! Nice submission victory there!

After winning the bout, Wesley Pipes thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
