Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Skip Bayliss (ranked 5844 p4p, 6846 weight class) and Allistar Liddell (ranked 581 p4p, 621 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Skip Bayliss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Allistar Liddell! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bayliss throws a jab but it's blocked by Liddell. Bayliss throws a shot from downtown. Liddell moves away and avoids it. Liddell blocks a jab. Bayliss looks to score with a jab to the body but Liddell is just out of range. Bayliss misses with a straight right. Liddell swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Liddell uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bayliss. Bayliss throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Liddell on the side of the head. Bayliss connects with a good right hand that stumbles Liddell. Liddell circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Liddell throws the left hand but Bayliss avoids the punch easily. Bayliss swings for the body but Liddell moves out of range.
Nice straight punches there by Bayliss. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bayliss. Bayliss is looking to land body kicks. Liddell tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bayliss manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Liddell gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bayliss lands a right hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Liddell on the wrong end of a nice jab. Liddell moves in looking to clinch but Bayliss pushes him off. Liddell walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Bayliss scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Liddell looks winded! Bayliss throws the left hand but Liddell avoids the punch easily. Liddell throws out a counter right but Bayliss avoids it with no problem. Bayliss throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bayliss swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Liddell. Bayliss cracks Liddell with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Liddell looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bayliss finish him?
Liddell is rocked! Liddell walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Bayliss! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
