Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Wayne (ranked 4071 p4p, 6516 weight class) and Casey Dutton (ranked 495 p4p, 608 weight class). Wayne comes to the cage accompanied by Superhero. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Wayne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Casey Dutton! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dutton slips a jab from Wayne. Wayne lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
It looks like Casey Dutton has been cut. Dutton goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Wayne tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dutton was well out of range. Poor timing from Wayne. Wayne misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dutton.
Dutton throws a looping overhand right but Wayne ducks down to avoid it. Wayne throws a big shot that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dutton displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wayne throws out the jab. As Wayne backs off Dutton throws a huge counter combo but Wayne manages to avoid it all. Dutton gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dutton looks to land a combination. Wayne sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Wayne tries to bum rush Dutton with a series of wild strikes but Dutton uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A swing and a miss from Wayne. A left and a right from Wayne both land. Nice combination. Dutton looks to throw the jab but Wayne is out of range. Wayne throws a looping overhand right but Dutton ducks down to avoid it. Wayne swings for the body but Dutton moves out of range.
Dutton drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Wayne cracks Dutton with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Dutton takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Wayne drops Dutton with a beautiful combination! Dutton stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Wayne is looking for the KO!
Dutton is rocked! Dutton staying out of range there. Dutton looks like he wants to counter punch here. Dutton is still on wobbly legs! Can Wayne finish him? Wayne showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dutton.
Dutton seems to have recovered his senses. Dutton shoots in for a double leg but Wayne sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Wayne appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Wayne misses with a double jab.
Dutton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wayne looks to score with a jab to the body but Dutton is just out of range. John Wayne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wayne misses with an uppercut. Dutton saw that one coming. Jab from Wayne. We've been told by Wayne's head coaches at Undisputed that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Dutton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dutton shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wayne defends it nicely. Dutton misses with a double jab.
Dutton is looking to chop away at Wayne's legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wayne moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Dutton connects with a right hand. Wayne shakes it off. Wayne swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Dutton! But no joy. Dutton shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Wayne eats them both and turns towards Dutton to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Dutton defending well as Wayne loads up on a big left hand. We've been informed that Dutton has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Wayne misses with a looping right. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A jab lands there for Wayne.
That has opened up Casey Dutton's cut even more. Dutton throws a low kick but Wayne avoids it. Wayne looks to throw the jab but Dutton is out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Wayne dominated that round. The cut man is working on Casey Dutton's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Dutton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wayne lands a jab to Dutton's midsection. Wayne thows a left - swing and a miss! Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Dutton might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Wayne has got the better of the exchanges. Dutton misses with a two punch combination.
Wayne throws a body punch but Dutton moves out of range. Wayne rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dutton counters with a two punch combo. Dutton steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wayne. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wayne throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Dutton walks into a left hand. Dutton staying out of range there. John Wayne is winning the standup battle so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wayne scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Dutton doesn't seem bothered though. Wayne is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dutton can do to turn this around? Wayne lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wayne rushes Dutton and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Dutton is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Wayne piles on the pressure and Dutton crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Wayne! A less than humble John Wayne misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
