Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake The Dog (ranked 642 p4p, 1013 weight class) and Todd Packer (ranked 81 p4p, 129 weight class). The Dog kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Meditation Time. The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Packer's corner calls for a 1-2. Packer obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
It looks like Jake The Dog has been cut.
Packer jabs The Dog right on the nose. The Dog blinks but takes it well.
Packer lands with a nice body punch.
Packer throws a leg kick which misses The Dog's front leg but catches the back leg as The Dog tries to avoid it.
Packer scores with a jab.
The Dog lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Packer scores with a shot to the body.
The Dog fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Packer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Packer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The Dog waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Packer.
Packer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as The Dog throws out the jab.
Packer is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
The Dog blocks a head kick by Packer.
Packer lands a body shot.
Nice body kick from Packer.
Packer throws a series of punches but The Dog moves out of range.
The Dog fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Packer manages to avoid it.
A good leg kick by Packer.
Packer throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Nice uppercut there from Packer.
Packer throws a sloppy head kick and The Dog moves out of range easily.
Packer lands a glancing blow to the side of The Dog's head.
The Dog is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
The Dog misses with a hook.
Oh The Dog is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The Dog is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Packer doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! The Dog crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in The Dog's bad books for that mishap!
