Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cory McDonnell (ranked 324 p4p, 563 weight class) and Uesugi Mochinori (ranked 47 p4p, 81 weight class). McDonnell comes to the cage accompanied by Jorge Quintero - 300 Violin Orchestra. The crowd seem to be enjoying Mochinori's choice of entrance music: Japanese Battle Music. The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonnell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mochinori throws a body kick that misses
and McDonnell counters by clinching up.
Mochinori's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
McDonnell buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

That was a close round but I would say that Cory McDonnell will probably get the nod.

Mochinori cracks McDonnell on the jaw with a powerful right hand and McDonnell falls backwards against the cage. Mochinori follows up with more strikes that drop McDonnell to his knees. Mochinori keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save McDonnell! This one is all over!
