Kaepernick throws out a counter right but Bird avoids it with no problem.
Kaepernick gets caught napping as Bird dives in and scores a takedown. Kaepernick manages to retain guard.
Kaepernick wants to get back to his feet but Bird passes into half guard.
Bird has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kaepernick defend it? Bird steps over the head and cranks it - Kaepernick is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bird!
