Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oulu Laine (ranked 304 p4p, 443 weight class) and Mike Murhaa (ranked 43 p4p, 61 weight class). Laine comes into the arena with Peti - Oulu Shangri-la blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And Laine counters with a quick kick to the body but Murhaa blocks it.

Good exchange - Murhaa coming out on top.
Murhaa throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Laine sees it coming and avoids it easily.
It looked like Laine was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Murhaa.
A clash of legs there as Murhaa blocks the low kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Murhaa moves out of range of the strikes.

Laine gets tackled into the cage by Murhaa. Murhaa maintains the clinch.

Laine breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Laine tries a low kick but Murhaa avoids it.
Murhaa throws a big shot that misses.
Murhaa tries to clinch but Laine moves away
and Laine makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Murhaa takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Laine keeps the fight on the outside.
Laine is looking to counter punch.
Murhaa misses with a hook.
Laine takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Murhaa uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Laine has time to react.
Murhaa wants to clinch up but Laine keeps it at a distance.

Murhaa rushes Laine and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Murhaa tries to work over Laine's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Laine lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Laine breaks the clinch.
Murhaa fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Murhaa has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Laine.

Murhaa closes the distance and pushes Laine back into the cage.
Murhaa blocking some punches.
Laine lands a nice uppercut.
Murhaa misses with a punch on the inside.
Laine scores with a shot to the side of Murhaa's head.
Murhaa tries to throw a body punch but Laine avoids it by throwing Murhaa back against the cage.

Laine breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Laine steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Murhaa.
Mike Murhaa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laine takes a shot right to the bread basket.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Murhaa looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Laine!
Laine is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Murhaa is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Murhaa cracks Laine with a big elbow.

Laine sneaks out the side door and pushes Murhaa away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Laine swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Murhaa throws a jab when Laine was well out of range.
It looked like Laine wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Laine throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Murhaa tries to close the distance and clinch but Laine swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Murhaa walks into a jab.

Murhaa closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Laine breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Laine takes a body punch but keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Oulu Laine will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Murhaa drives through and clinches with Laine against the cage.
Laine wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Murhaa has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Laine seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Murhaa can turn it around.
Murhaa can't find room to land a body shot as Laine controls the action.
Murhaa lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Laine lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Murhaa wants to clinch but Laine slips to the side
and Laine counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Murhaa! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!

Oulu Laine decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
