Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Malik El Shabazz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Leahy! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.

Leahy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. El Shabazz is defending against the submission attempts here by Leahy.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Leahy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from El Shabazz finds it's way round the side to connect with Leahy's head. Leahy on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Leahy takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. El Shabazz connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. El Shabazz dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Malik El Shabazz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. El Shabazz lands a jab to the nose. El Shabazz defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Leahy. El Shabazz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Malik El Shabazz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice sprawl there from El Shabazz as Leahy shoots in. El Shabazz is looking to counter punch. Leahy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and El Shabazz counters with an inside leg kick. Malik El Shabazz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Leahy. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Donk. El Shabazz catches Leahy right on the button with a cross. El Shabazz lands an overhand right. The fighters circle, before El Shabazz throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Leahy's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! El Shabazz lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

A very excited looking Malik El Shabazz made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
