Gold ducks under a wild hook from Red Eagle.

Gold takes the fight into the clinch.

Red Eagle manages to break the clinch.

Gold shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Gold is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Red Eagle is just riding it out for now. Gold eventually gives up the hold.
Gold wants to lay and pray for a moment but Red Eagle keeps working.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gold is working for a submission of some sort.
Gold uses his free foot to push down on Red Eagle's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Red Eagle.

Gold seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Red Eagle is holding on tight.

Gold is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Red Eagle can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Gold is looking to work his way around to Red Eagle's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Gold has control of Red Eagle's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Red Eagle regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Red Eagle is squirming around, avoiding Gold's attempts to control the action.
Red Eagle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gold on the ground.

Gold is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Red Eagle to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Red Eagle shrugs it off.

Gold has hold of Red Eagle's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Red Eagle manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Gold is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Red Eagle is surviving well by controlling Gold's body position as best he can.

Gold is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Gold extends the arm and Red Eagle is forced to tap!
