Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Samuel Orr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Paddy OBrien! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.

OBrien's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. OBrien shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Orr is trying to stand.
OBrien takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Orr wants to get back to his feet. Orr blocking the ground and pound attempt from OBrien. Orr is trying to stand back up but OBrien is controlling him

OBrien really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Orr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Orr is bucking up trying to escape but OBrien cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Orr bucks up and throws OBrien to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! OBrien lands a really nice looking cross but Orr seems unphased.
OBrien closes the distance and clinches. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. OBrien drops Orr with a big knee straight up the middle! Orr is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
It looks like Samuel Orr has been cut. OBrien thumps Orr with a low kick. OBrien closes the distance and pushes Orr back into the cage. OBrien lands a takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. OBrien trying to control the position from guard on top but Orr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. OBrien throws a strike but Orr rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
OBrien has his foot on Orr's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Orr works his way back into a safe position though. Orr scoring with punches to the head and body. Orr postures up.

Orr won't allow OBrien to sweep him here. Orr lands a couple of elbows. Orr is looking to work some ground and pound but OBrien has wrist control. OBrien has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Orr seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if OBrien can turn it around. OBrien is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Orr to keep the fight standing.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. OBrien lands with a slapping head kick. Orr bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Orr grinds an elbow into OBrien's temple. OBrien parries the strikes from Orr easily there. Orr is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable OBrien to escape.

Samuel Orr overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. OBrien is still trying to improve position. OBrien is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Orr lands a nice shot to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Orr raining down hammerfists from mount. Orr seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but OBrien does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Orr missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Orr lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Orr controlling the action here. Orr wants to lay and pray for a moment but OBrien keeps working.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Paddy OBrien. I've got OBrien winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
