Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sol Kwon (ranked 1391 p4p, 3028 weight class) and De Forest Treadwell (ranked 197 p4p, 399 weight class). Treadwell is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by God gave me style, I’m coming home mix. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

Kwon dips to his left and cracks Treadwell with an uppercut!
Treadwell is looking to clinch but Kwon is avoiding it.
Treadwell throws a good cross that connects.

It looks like Sol Kwon has been cut.
Kwon missing with a left hand there. Treadwell was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kwon moves away from the strike by Treadwell.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Treadwell has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Treadwell swings and misses with a shot to the body

Treadwell shoots for a double leg takedown but Kwon sprawls well. He's pushed Treadwell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kwon lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Treadwell head around and knocks him out cold! Kwon hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
