It seemed like Barbosa was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Gusmao dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Barbosa. That did some damage!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Barbosa connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gusmao. Gusmao circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

The fighters circle momentarily. Gusmao darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

A clash of legs there as Barbosa blocks the low kick.

Some bone on bone action there as Barbosa checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Barbosa moves forwards but Gusmao connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Barbosa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gusmao fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Gusmao's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Barbosa connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gusmao scrambles back to his feet.

Barbosa keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Gusmao is rocked!

and Barbosa counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Gusmao out cold! What a finish! Barbosa is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
