Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Akio Kurosaki (ranked 1123 p4p, 840 weight class) and Tud Stoddler (ranked 130 p4p, 103 weight class). It looks like Akio Kurosaki has been cut.
Kurosaki looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kurosaki missing with a left hand there. Stoddler was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Stoddler misses with a right hand
and Kurosaki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kurosaki misses with a left hand
and Stoddler cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Akio Kurosaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kurosaki lands a big head kick that sends Stoddler tumbling to the mat! Kurosaki takes a step backwards and waves Stoddler back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Stoddler is rocked!
It looks like Tud Stoddler has been cut.

An inside leg kick lands from Kurosaki.
Stoddler is still on wobbly legs! Can Kurosaki finish him?
Kurosaki finds Stoddler's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Stoddler flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Kurosaki lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Stoddler will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Akio Kurosaki!
