Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Torres (ranked 1098 p4p, 1285 weight class) and Derek Erwin (ranked 180 p4p, 206 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Torres might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Juaneco y su Combo - Mujer Hilandera. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Torres throws an off balance right hand
letting Erwin counter with a right hand.

and Erwin counters with a nice uppercut.
Erwin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Erwin wants it to stay on the feet.
Erwin throws a fast counter high kick but Torres manages to duck under it in time.
Erwin scores with a jab to the head.

and Erwin counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Torres out cold! What a finish! Erwin is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
