Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pauly Just Training (ranked 2547 p4p, 3254 weight class) and Temujin Khan (ranked 142 p4p, 176 weight class). Pauly Just Training has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pauly Just Training! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Temujin Khan! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Just Training misses with a takedown attempt - Khan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Just Training tries to score a power double leg takedown but Khan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Just Training somewhat. Khan tries to clinch up but Just Training circles away and keeps his distance. Just Training has been working on his boxing with his coaches at MMA Dojo (Top Gym in Tokyo*) in the buildup to the fight. Just Training fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pauly Just Training. That's going to take a lot out of him. Khan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Just Training is looking to regain half guard here but Khan keeps moving and retains side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Khan tries to advance to mount but Just Training denies him. Just Training is trying to escape the position but Khan is controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Just Training's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Khan working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Just Training is looking to reverse the position. Just Training is working hard here to advance position. Just Training can't do much from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Just Training's face as Khan controls the position. Just Training is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Just Training looking for submissions off his back. Just Training is pressing down on Khan's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Khan forces his way into half guard. Just Training tries to get to full guard but Khan has control of the leg. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Khan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Just Training is trying to maintain the position but Khan is very close to passing his half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Just Training shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Khan pinned against the cage. Khan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Just Training drives through with a takedown into Khan's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Just Training is looking to work some ground and pound but Khan has wrist control. Khan has a closed guard, preventing Just Training from standing up. Khan looking for a guillotine here but Just Training defends easily.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Khan looking for a sweep. Not yet Khan, not yet. Khan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Just Training doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Just Training manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Just Training lands a couple of elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Temujin Khan will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Just Training tries to score a power double leg takedown but Khan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Just Training somewhat. Just Training misses with a head kick.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Khan blocks a low kick nicely. A punch combination from Just Training misses. Khan tries to counter with a clinch but Just Training shakes him off and moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Just Training shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Khan pinned against the cage. Khan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Pauly Just Training is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A jab from Khan finds it's way through Just Training's defenses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan tries to clinch up but Just Training circles away and keeps his distance. Just Training throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Just Training tries to clinch but Khan moves out of range. Just Training has a takedown stuffed. Khan shapes to counter with a head kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fight stays on the outside here - Just Training looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Khan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Just Training quickly recovers to half guard. Khan is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Just Training sees it coming and defends easily. Khan decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Pauly Just Training seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Just Training shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Khan but Khan pushes him off and we're back to square one. Just Training shoots for a takedown but Khan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Khan shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Just Training napping and manages to drive through into side control! Just Training tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Khan throwing damaging strikes from the back! Just Training could be in trouble here!
Just Training grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Just Training wants to get back to his feet. Temujin Khan has got the better of the ground game so far. Just Training trying to control the position but Khan manages to sink in the hooks. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Khan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Khan throwing damaging strikes from the back! Just Training could be in trouble here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khan trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Just Training doesn't escape. Just Training is trapped and Khan is scoring with shots to the head and body. I would not like to be Just Training right now.
Khan tightening his grip on Just Training, looking for the choke. Khan has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Just Training has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Good control from Khan. Khan is persistently looking for the submission but Just Training is defending it well.
Just Training trying to control the action but Khan just sinks the hooks in. Khan slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Temujin Khan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round! Just Training shoots in for a takedown but Khan shows good takedown defense. Khan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Just Training is trying to defend but Khan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Khan prevents Just Training from standing back up.
Khan content to control rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Khan connects with a nice short shot to Just Training's temple. Just Training pushes Khan off looking to stand but Khan dives back in and keeps control.

Well, if Khan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Just Training misses with a body kick. Just Training fails with a takedown attempt. Khan looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Just Training tries to close the distance and clinch but Khan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Just Training is trying hard to land a takedown here. Khan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pauly Just Training. That's going to take a lot out of him. Khan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Just Training is trying to defend but Khan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Khan is taking a breather. Just Training says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. More stalling from Khan.

Temujin Khan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Khan working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Khan content just to control the position here. Just Training is trying desperately to improve position. Pauly Just Training has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Khan has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Khan controlling the position easily from mount. Just Training's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Khan stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Khan tries to clinch but Just Training moves out of range. Just Training wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Khan wants to land a leg kick but Just Training is out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! Temujin Khan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Khan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
