Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Babinski (ranked 2235 p4p, 2359 weight class) and Nick Rodriguez (ranked 262 p4p, 273 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nick Rodriguez!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and James Glass.

Rodriguez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Babinski tries to avoid it but Rodriguez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Babinski to the ground. Babinski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rodriguez feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Rodriguez wants to pass the guard but Babinski is keeping the position.

Babinski pushes Rodriguez off and scrambles back to his feet.

and Babinski counters with a nice uppercut.

Rodriguez manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Babinski on his heels. He'll look to pass Babinski's guard now, I'm sure.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Babinski throws a lazy right hand but Rodriguez sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Babinski stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Babinski wants it to stay on the feet.
Viktor Babinski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Rodriguez.

Babinski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

and Babinski counters with a crisp one two that drops Rodriguez! Babinski thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Rodriguez to his feet! Rodriguez is in big trouble!

Babinski uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rodriguez.

and Babinski counters with a nice right hand that sends Rodriguez toppling to the canvas! Rodriguez scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Babinski finish him?!

It looks like Nick Rodriguez has been cut.
Babinski sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Rodriguez's defenses. It connects perfectly with Rodriguez's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!

Viktor Babinski opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
