Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Super Meat Boy (ranked 1842 p4p, 1759 weight class) and Keone Kapisi (ranked 210 p4p, 201 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Meat Boy takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kapisi misses the shot to the body.
Kapisi blocks the body kick.
Kapisi fails to land with a series of punches.
Kapisi tries a head kick but it misses.
Kapisi looks to throw the jab but Meat Boy is out of range.
Meat Boy gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Super Meat Boy has been cut.

Keone Kapisi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A low kick from Kapisi is predictable there
and Meat Boy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kapisi throws out a leg kick but Meat Boy moves out of range and Kapisi only half commits.
Meat Boy lands a big right hand that sends Kapisi crashing to the mat! Meat Boy stays standing though and waves Kapisi back to his feet!
Kapisi is rocked!
Meat Boy goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Meat Boy steps in with a hook that catches Kapisi right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Meat Boy follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Kapisi looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Super Meat Boy!
In his post fight interview, Super Meat Boy started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
