Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jarred Reich (ranked 998 p4p, 626 weight class) and Patrick River (ranked 149 p4p, 96 weight class). River comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pantera - Walk kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 14 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jarred Reich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Patrick River!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
River throws a head kick that misses.
Patrick River seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reich loads up on a big right hand but River slips the punch.
River goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A swing and a miss from Reich.
River connects with a looping right hand.
A head kick misses from River.
Reich avoids the head kick by River.
Sloppy strikes from Reich. Those never looked like landing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A combination from River does no damage.
River ducks right into an uppercut from Reich.
River dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

River throws a body punch but Reich moves out of range.
We've been told by Reich's head coaches at MONEY TEAM!!! that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

A looping hook to the body misses from River. Reich does a little dance to reset his feet.
River misses with an uppercut. Reich saw that one coming.
River lands with a right hand.

enabling Reich to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Patrick River has been cut.
River misses with a few strikes there.
River lands a head shot.

It looks like Jarred Reich has been cut.
River lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Reich at a distance.
River walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Reich checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Reich throws an off balance right hand
and River makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

River lands a big head kick that sends Reich tumbling to the mat! River takes a step backwards and waves Reich back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Reich is rocked!
River lands with a kick to the ribs.
Oh Reich is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Reich is breathing heavily.
Reich avoids the head kick by River.
Reich looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Reich takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Good leg kick by River.
Reich seems to have got his legs back now.
River throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Reich stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
River dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
River feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Reichs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

River drops Reich with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Reich looks back up at him and smiles so River waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Reich lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Reich leaves his chin hanging out and River seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Reich crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Our winner, Patrick River, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
