Cider just misses with a punch to the body.
Cider thows a left - swing and a miss!

Higgins swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Higgins fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cider looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Cider lands with a straight right. Higgins didn't see that one coming.
Cider getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Higgins gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Cider lands a jab to Higgins's midsection.

and Cider takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Higgins counters with a nice right hand that sends Cider toppling to the canvas! Cider scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Higgins finish him?!

Higgins drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Cider's head, knocking him out cold! Higgins is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

In his post fight interview, Lou Higgins started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
