Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Furio Spartan (ranked 5271 p4p, 2918 weight class) and Crush Bandicoot (ranked 81 p4p, 30 weight class). Spartan's entrance music is This is Sparta. A fine choice. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 15 - 1, fighting out of New York, Furio Spartan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Crush Bandicoot!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.

Bandicoot might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Spartan haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Spartan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bandicoot tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Spartan is in Bandicoot's guard.

Bandicoot looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bandicoot is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
