Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jett Denovan (ranked 1997 p4p, 1100 weight class) and Dennis Rader (ranked 236 p4p, 126 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jett Denovan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dennis Rader!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.

Denovan gets a double leg takedown into Rader's guard.

Denovan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rader has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Denovan has managed to get both his arms back between Rader's legs - danger averted.
Denovan lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Denovan is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Rader has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Denovan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Rader.

Denovan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rader is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Denovan lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Rader down.
Rader takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rader is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Dennis Rader seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rader fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Denovan manages to avoid it.
Denovan went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Denovan tries to close the distance and clinch but Rader swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Denovan takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Rader throws a shot from downtown. Denovan moves away and avoids it.
