Davis throws a leg kick
and Marley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Marley has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Convicted Fight Club in the buildup to the fight.
Davis tries to clinch but Marley is having none of it.
Davis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Marley throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Omar Davis has been cut.
Marley scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Marley drops Davis with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Davis looks back up at him and smiles so Marley waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Marley lands a body shot.
Davis gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Marley points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Davis wakes up just in time to hear Marley thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ezekiel Marley!
A very excited looking Ezekiel Marley made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
