Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ando Rowan (ranked 2452 p4p, 5754 weight class) and Yuxiang Wu (ranked 322 p4p, 549 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Ando Rowan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ando Rowan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ando Rowan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuxiang Wu! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rowan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wu lands a jab to the nose. Rowan scores with a sloppy right hand. Wu should have avoided that one. Rowan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rowan wants it to stay on the feet. Wu closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Wu scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Rowan to see if he's OK. Wu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rowan keeps working. Wu is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Wu working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wu misses with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wu is trying to get an arm triangle but Rowan is defending well. Wu misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Rowan has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Rowan on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The ground and pound from Wu seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Wu misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Wu has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Rowan is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Wu yanks on the arm and Rowan is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Wu.
