Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ameqran Anto (ranked 1360 p4p, 1332 weight class) and Caio Barbosa (ranked 171 p4p, 168 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Caio Barbosa!

Barbosa closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Anto quickly recovers to half guard.
Barbosa wants to control but Anto is keeping him busy.

Barbosa tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Barbosa has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Barbosa wants to take his opponent's back but instead Anto manages to regain half guard.

Anto will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Anto bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Barbosa's guard.

Barbosa has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Anto doesn't defend quickly enough and Barbosa has managed to lock this one up! Can Anto escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Barbosa on a fantastic submission victory.
