Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Boaler (ranked 1294 p4p, 545 weight class) and Ko Van Den Born (ranked 182 p4p, 79 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jonathan Boaler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ko Van Den Born! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boaler is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Van Den Born pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Boaler is looking to clinch but Van Den Born is avoiding it.
Boaler gets a takedown into half guard. Boaler is trying to work for a kimura but Van Den Born is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Van Den Born wants to control but Boaler is keeping busy and won't allow it. Boaler is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Van Den Born is controlling Boaler's trapped leg to prevent Boaler from advancing to side control. Van Den Born told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Boaler wants to lay and pray for a moment but Van Den Born keeps working. Boaler is working for a submission of some sort.

Boaler is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Van Den Born doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Boaler.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Van Den Born is refusing to be controlled, as Boaler sits in half guard. Boaler seems to be working for a kimura but Van Den Born defends the submission attempt. Boaler is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Van Den Born is just riding it out for now. Boaler eventually gives up the hold. Boaler is trying to work for a kimura but Van Den Born is defending well.

Boaler wants to free his trapped foot but Van Den Born is holding on for dear life with his legs. Boaler is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Van Den Born is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Van Den Born uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Boaler. Van Den Born connects with a looping right hand.
Van Den Born lands a big right hand that sends Boaler crashing to the mat! Van Den Born stays standing though and waves Boaler back to his feet!
Boaler is rocked! Boaler circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Van Den Born. Boaler falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Van Den Born!
