Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Long Hung Dong (ranked 1364 p4p, 1092 weight class) and Frank Marciano 3rd (ranked 208 p4p, 163 weight class). Marciano 3rd is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by O Fortuna. Frank Marciano 3rd acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Dong turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Marciano 3rd darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Marciano 3rd wants to pass the guard but Dong is defending well.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Marciano 3rd working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dong connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Marciano 3rd's hands.

Dong fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Marciano 3rd checks it well.

It looks like Frank Marciano 3rd has been cut.

Marciano 3rd shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Marciano 3rd was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Dong tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Marciano 3rd wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Dong is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Marciano 3rd off and has taken his back!
Dong working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Marciano 3rd is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Dong has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Marciano 3rd taps out!
