Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Khun Rayn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daisuke Suzuki!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Suzuki takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Suzuki walks into a left hand.
Rayn pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rayn is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Rayn throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Suzuki on the side of the head.

Suzuki tries to advance position but instead Rayn slips a leg back in to half guard.

Rayn wants to stand but Suzuki is controlling the position.

Suzuki is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rayn is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rayn has escaped and now he's on top!

Suzuki throws his legs up looking for a submission but Rayn uses it to pass to side control.

Suzuki tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rayn wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Suzuki manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Suzuki seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rayn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rayn, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
