Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, T Bone Carver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David King! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Carver looks to throw the jab but King is out of range. King avoids the body shot from Carver.
King moves out of range of the strikes. King pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A looping hook to the body misses from King. Carver does a little dance to reset his feet. Carver throws a body shot but no joy. It seemed like King was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. King cracks a nice hook into Carver's ribs. Jab, jab by King - just one landing.
It looks like T Bone Carver has been cut. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by King!
King scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Carver scores with the left hand. King knows he should have avoided that one. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Carver looks to throw the jab but King is out of range. King scores with a body shot.
King uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. King fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Carver looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Carver misses with a straight left. King swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. King connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. King throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Carver misses with a hook. King ducked under it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. King misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Carver.
T Bone Carver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carver slips under a jab. Carver takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. King avoids a lazy jab quite easily. King swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Carver throws a big shot that misses. Carver walks into a jab.
T Bone Carver's cut is getting worse. Carver uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from King. Carver throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. King jabbing away but nothing is landing. A slow jab from Carver misses its intended target. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Carver, as that shot connected.
Carver lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
It looks like David King has been cut. King misses with a hook. Carver keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Carver throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Carver is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. King keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! King works Carver's body with a nice hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carver misses with a shot to the body and King counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. King sizes up Carver with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

T Bone Carver's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. King tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carver was well out of range. Poor timing from King. Carver throws a looping overhand right but King ducks down to avoid it. Carver thuds his right hand into King's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. King ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. A jab from Carver misses. King ducks under a wild hook from Carver. King moves out of range of the strikes. The fighters circle momentarily. King darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. King uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Carver. A big right from Carver misses. King cracks Carver with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. King has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Carver to stand back up! Oh Carver is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! King just misses with a punch to the body.
Carver misses with an uppercut. King saw that one coming. Carver seems to have got his legs back now. Carver ducks down and throws a hook to the body but King moves away. King is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Carver had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. King connects with a body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King drops Carver with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Carver! King dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David King! David King decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
