Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Konstantin Stepanov (ranked 2048 p4p, 1903 weight class) and Norman Pearson (ranked 226 p4p, 214 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Norman Pearson enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

Stepanov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pearson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stepanov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Pearson tries to bum rush Stepanov with a series of wild strikes but Stepanov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Norman Pearson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Pearson lands a head kick. Stepanov smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Stepanov lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Pearson quite badly. Pearson pulls Stepanov in close trying to recover. Stepanov postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Pearson on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Pearson doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Konstantin Stepanov!
Konstantin Stepanov bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
In defeat, Norman Pearson stepped up to the mic, saying 'I knew I was better in the clinch so I did my best to get in that area and smash him. Obviously that gameplan didn't work. I will get back to camp and re-evaluate where we went wrong. Thank you all for coming out! '.
