Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Rodrigues (ranked 714 p4p, 2076 weight class) and Ziggy Ozbourne (ranked 85 p4p, 248 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Ozbourne's choice of entrance music: Crazy Train. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Samuel Rodrigues! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ziggy Ozbourne! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ozbourne swats away the attempt to clinch by Rodrigues. Rodrigues moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Samuel Rodrigues has been cut. Rodrigues doesn't manage to clinch there - Ozbourne circles away.

No, Ozbourne has managed to free his arm - good work. Rodrigues is trying to control the action in half guard but Ozbourne is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. That's four minutes gone in the round. Rodrigues is looking to stall here but Ozbourne recovers full guard. Rodrigues showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Rodrigues trying to control but Ozbourne is working from the bottom. Rodrigues is really struggling to control Ozbourne but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ziggy Ozbourne dominated that round. The cut man is working on Samuel Rodrigues's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Rodrigues tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Ozbourne cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ziggy Ozbourne seems to be getting the better of the standup. Ozbourne avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Samuel Rodrigues seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ozbourne jabs Rodrigues to the body, keeping him at a distance. Rodrigues takes a body punch but keeps moving. Ozbourne circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rodrigues tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ozbourne paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ozbourne looks like he wants to counter punch here. Ozbourne scores with a punch to the head. Ozbourne fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Samuel Rodrigues's cut is getting worse. Ozbourne cracks a nice hook into Rodrigues's ribs. Ozbourne has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Rodrigues moves to clinch but Ozbourne breaks away and Ozbourne scores with a counter punch that sends Rodrigues to the canvas! Ozbourne smells blood - he's punishing Rodrigues with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Rodrigues has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ziggy Ozbourne! After the fight, Ziggy Ozbourne was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
