Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Niek Mulder (ranked 634 p4p, 1450 weight class) and Keisuke Matsuzaka (ranked 93 p4p, 211 weight class). Keisuke Matsuzaka will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Niek Mulder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Keisuke Matsuzaka!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mulder shoots in for a takedown but Matsuzaka shows good takedown defense.
A nice side step and Matsuzaka releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Mulder throws a head kick that misses
and Matsuzaka counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mulder shoots and misses
and Matsuzaka counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Matsuzaka looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mulder tries to move into range but Matsuzaka moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Mulder tries for a takedown but Matsuzaka circles away easily
and Matsuzaka counters with a nice body shot.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Niek Mulder. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Decent striking displayed by Matsuzaka there.
Mulder has his takedown stuffed
and Matsuzaka counters with a nice right hand that sends Mulder toppling to the canvas! Mulder scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Matsuzaka finish him?!
Mulder is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Matsuzaka circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Mulder tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Matsuzaka wins by KO!
