Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bejamin Gold (ranked 4007 p4p, 2604 weight class) and Marlon John (ranked 504 p4p, 342 weight class). Marlon John told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

John feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Golds jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It looks like Bejamin Gold has been cut.
Gold throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
John with the counter takedown but Gold avoids it easily.
Bejamin Gold seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gold lands with a right hand.
Gold throws a shot to the body.
Gold swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
John shoots in looking for a takedown but Gold manages to keep the fight standing, pushing John's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Gold changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Gold just misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

John closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gold did well to prevent John getting side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
John working over Gold with some ground and pound. Gold looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
John takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Gold knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for John on the ground.
Gold has hold of John's hands but John slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Gold definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

John lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Gold! More strikes land and this one is all over! John jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

During a confident post fight interview, Marlon John thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
