Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Hradek (ranked 2663 p4p, 1870 weight class) and Fedor Petrov (ranked 311 p4p, 219 weight class). Petrov has chosen They want too see me fall as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jan Hradek! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Petrov! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petrov misses with a double jab
and Hradek cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Petrov throws a predictable looking body shot
and Hradek counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Hradek fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Petrov cracks Hradek with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Petrov feints a jab promting Hradek to slip. Petrov then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hradek slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Petrov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hradek was well out of range. Poor timing from Petrov. Hradek changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Petrov tries to avoid it but Hradek manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Petrov to the ground. Petrov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Petrov misses with a looping left. Hradek misses with a takedown attempt - Petrov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Petrov throws out a counter right but Hradek avoids it with no problem. Petrov throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hradek. A little feinted left hand from Hradek on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Hradek looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Petrov misses with a few strikes there.

Hradek shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Petrov defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jan Hradek. That's going to take a lot out of him. Petrov has his foot on Hradek's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hradek works his way back into a safe position though. Hradek trying to control the position from guard on top but Petrov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hradek drops back for a leg! He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hradek doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hradek manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Hradek throws an elbow that misses. Petrov uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hradek's guard. Nice move by Petrov!

Petrov is aware though and is defending well. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Fedor Petrov dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Petrov throws a hook but Hradek blocks it. It looked like Hradek wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Petrov misses with a right hand letting Hradek counter with a right hand. Petrov throws a lazy uppercut
and Hradek counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Hradek throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Petrov's waist but Petrov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hradek off to one side. Hradek fails with a takedown attempt. Hradek showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Petrov.
Fedor Petrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hradek looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jan Hradek. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hradek shoots in but no luck this time.

Hradek changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Petrov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hradek working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Hradek goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Petrov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Hradek but great work by Petrov. Fedor Petrov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jan Hradek's cut. That's time! Hradek's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hradek seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Hradek uses his free foot to push down on Petrov's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Petrov. Hradek working for a submission but Petrov is keeping him at bay. Petrov is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Hradek wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Petrov regains half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hradek is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Petrov defends it well.
And that's the end of the fight! Jan Hradek showed his dominance in that final round. I think Petrov has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
