Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lance Mills (ranked 1557 p4p, 1833 weight class) and Rhondon Rousey (ranked 186 p4p, 215 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Lance Mills has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Lance Mills seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lance Mills!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rhondon Rousey!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mills fails with the takedown
and Rousey connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Lance Mills has been cut.
Mills takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Mills instigates a clinch.
Rousey tries to circle away but Mills has him pinned against the cage.
Mills has a couple of punches blocked by Rousey.
Rousey is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Mills jumps guard.
Rousey pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mills is keeping the position for now.
Mills escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rousey gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mills working for a triangle but Rousey defends it easily.
Rousey got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mills has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rousey has managed to get both his arms back between Mills's legs - danger averted.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rousey not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Mills has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Rousey should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Mills has tightened it up now! Rousey should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Lance Mills!
In his post fight interview, Lance Mills started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
