Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Darwin (ranked 2217 p4p, 4747 weight class) and Royal Pain (ranked 255 p4p, 481 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Pain's choice of entrance music: AC/DC Thunderstruck. Royal Pain has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darwin cracks Pain with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Our spies down at at Rabid Dog inform us that Pain has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Pain is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Darwin is aware though and is defending well.

Pain has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Darwin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Pain throws a lazy right hand but Darwin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Darwin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pains jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Pain rushes Darwin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Darwin misses with a hook to the ribs.
A right hook to the body lands for Darwin.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Darwin lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Pain or not.

Darwin presses Pain against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Pain misses with a short punch on the inside.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Charlie Darwin dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Darwin jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Darwin lands a big right hand that sends Pain crashing to the mat! Darwin stays standing though and waves Pain back to his feet!

Pain is rocked!
Darwin drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Pain's head, knocking him out cold! Darwin is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Charlie Darwin!
Charlie Darwin decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
In defeat, Royal Pain stepped up to the mic, saying 'Shit, there goes my chance to be like Mike.'.
