And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rimtas Kentas!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Kentas.
Kentas is trying to get an arm triangle but Wynns Jr is defending well.
Wynns Jr struggling a bit here.
My spies in Team Grunt inform me that Kentas has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Kentas working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Kentas tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wynns Jr throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Wynns Jr is trying to get back to half guard.
Kentas trying to control the position but Wynns Jr is working away.
Kentas is working to tighten his grip on Wynns Jr's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Wynns Jr has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Kentas is really squeezing tight and eventually Wynns Jr passes out! Kentas breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Rimtas Kentas!
Rimtas Kentas decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
