Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sig Sauer (ranked 4064 p4p, 3700 weight class) and Anthony Ochoa (ranked 519 p4p, 490 weight class). Ochoa has chosen Gang Signs by The Game as his entrance music. Anthony Ochoa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sig Sauer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Ochoa!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ochoa throws a leg kick but Sauer moved away.
Sauer misses with a hook
and Ochoa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Sig Sauer has been cut.
Ochoa misses with a looping right.
Sauer misses with a hook
and Ochoa counters with a left to the body.
Sauer throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ochoa steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Sauer throws a right hand that misses
and Ochoa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sauer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ochoa moves away.
Sauer shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Ochoa counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sauer has had enough of the clinch but Ochoa keeps him there for the moment.
Sauer tries to break the clinch but Ochoa is controlling the position.
Ochoa working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Ochoa stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Ochoa is leaning against Sauer and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sauer looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Sauer wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Ochoa throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Sauers head.

Sauer's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ochoa scores with a body shot.
Sauer is breathing heavily.
Sauer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ochoa tries to avoid it but Sauer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ochoa to the ground. Ochoa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ochoa lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ochoa's coach down at Primal Concrete Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ochoa's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Sauer throws a push kick but Ochoa slaps the foot to one side.
Anthony Ochoa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Ochoa lands a big right hand that sends Sauer crashing to the mat! Ochoa stays standing though and waves Sauer back to his feet!

Sauer is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ochoa fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sauer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Oh Sauer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big left from Sauer misses.
Sauer seems to have got his legs back now.
Sauer throws a body kick despite being completely out of range

and Ochoa counters by clinching up.
Sauer is trying to push Ochoa away but Ochoa has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ochoa struggles to land a body shot inside as Sauer controls his hands.
Ochoa pushes Sauer back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Sauer blocks a body shot from Ochoa.
A hook to the body from Ochoa.
Ochoa pushes Sauer back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Ochoa breaks from the clinch.
Sauer takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Sauer walks forward, straight into a front kick from Ochoa.
Good leg kick by Ochoa.
Sauer misses with a takedown attempt

and Ochoa counters with a crisp right hand that drops Sauer! Ochoa lets Sauer back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Sig Sauer's cut is getting worse.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sig Sauer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice body kick from Ochoa.
Ochoa is stalking Sauer. Sauer circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Ochoa, and it's lights out! Sauer really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Anthony Ochoa!
Anthony Ochoa very nearly forgot to thank Conviction amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
