Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arnfinn Nesset (ranked 1008 p4p, 849 weight class) and Darrel Hill (ranked 132 p4p, 114 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Arnfinn Nesset!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Darrel Hill!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Fedor Mirinova and Viktor Lagutenko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hill cracks Nesset with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Nesset throws an overhand right that lands on Hill's shoulder, as Hill tries to avoid the shot.
Nesset throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hill sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Darrel Hill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nesset connects with a crisp jab.
Nesset misses with an uppercut. Hill saw that one coming.
Hill let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Hill moves forwards but Nesset connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It looks like Darrel Hill has been cut.

Hill's coach down at London MMA Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hill's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The fighters circling - Hill throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nesset throws out a loose jab but Hill uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hill darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Hill is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nesset doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hill.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hill slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Nesset is trying to shake Hill off. He's managed it and has hopped back to his feet! Hill won't be happy about giving up the dominant position.

Nesset looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nesset really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Nesset ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hill moves away.
Nesset lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Hill closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Nesset tries to kick Hill off but Hill keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Nesset manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Hill keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Nesset breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

After the fight, Arnfinn Nesset was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
