Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arnoldas Sireika (ranked 4074 p4p, 6118 weight class) and Gatekeeper Devil (ranked 509 p4p, 639 weight class). Arnoldas Sireika could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gatekeeper Devil's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gatekeeper Devil!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Igor Prikhodko and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sireika misses the jab.
Sireika throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Devil tries to clinch up but Sireika circles away and keeps his distance.
Sireika throwing a counter right hand but Devil manages to avoid it.
Sireika is looking to chop away at Devil's legs.
Devil throws out a counter right but Sireika avoids it with no problem.
Devil shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Sireika napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Devil closes the distance and clinches up with Sireika, looking for a takedown. Devil pushes Sireika against the cage but Sireika circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sireika throws a right hand that Devil ducks under and follows up with a left that Devil also avoids with ease.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Sireika is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Devil takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Horrible takedown attempt by Devil or perhaps it was just good defense by Sireika, which made it look bad.

No joy there for Sireika, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Devil tries to close the distance and clinch but Sireika swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Devil tries for a takedown but Sireika sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Devil moves forwards but Sireika connects with a nice, crisp jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sireika bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

A determined Arnoldas Sireika didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
