Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jolly Roger (ranked 1504 p4p, 3064 weight class) and Elo Veena (ranked 200 p4p, 392 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Roger might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Under Jolly Roger. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jolly Roger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Elo Veena!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Roger with that takedown attempt.
Roger throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Veena was covering up waiting for the punch and Roger finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Roger stops Veena from standing up.
Roger drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Roger jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Veena wants to stand but Roger is controlling the position.
Roger stands and throws Veena's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've been hearing that Roger has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Roger is trying to get an arm triangle but Veena is defending well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Veena can do anything to dispel that myth.
Roger is working to tighten his grip on Veena's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Veena has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Roger is really squeezing tight and eventually Veena passes out! Roger breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Jolly Roger!
Jolly Roger gave a mention to EL ZOIDO FEEBLE FIGHTWEAR in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
