Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alphonzo Mirage (ranked 1771 p4p, 2069 weight class) and Don Johns (ranked 238 p4p, 269 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Don Johns!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johns throws a good cross that connects.
Johns misses with a wild body shot.
Mirage lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
It looks like Don Johns has been cut.
Johns throws a hook but Mirage avoids it easily.
Mirage lands with a hook. Johns tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Johns misses with a body shot.
Johns throws a sloppy body shot
and Mirage counters with a stiff right hand.
Johns cracks a nice hook into Mirage's ribs.
Johns checks a low kick from Mirage.
Johns looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Mirage connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Johns is rocked!
Johns switches off momentarily and Mirage cracks him with a monster right hand! Johns topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Mirage dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Mirage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alphonzo Mirage!
